A holiday by the water just like in the good old days
Pssst! The Flachau region is an insider tip for families who want to spend a quiet holiday near the lakes in summer. There are two idyllically located swimming lakes in close proximity – in Flachauwinkl and Reitdorf. Entrance to the lakes is free, they both have a lovely sunbathing area and children’s playground and can easily be reached by bike from the Almdorf. By the Reiteck Lake in Reitdorf there’s a small lakeside buffet, and at the Winkl Lake there’s even a small lakeside restaurant that’s known for its fish specialities. The ideal place to take a break from a family biike tour along the Enns, which has its source at the end of the valley, or spend a relaxing family swimming day by the lake.

Hiking holiday with a daily activity programme
The Almdorf Flachau is the ideal starting point for your hike through the Salzburg mountain world. Set off directly from your hut. You can go off on a hike by yourself or take part in a guided hiking tour with professional hiking guides. Because guided themed hikes are included every day with your booking at the Almdorf Flachau (from June to the end of September). Also included is a varied programme of activities such as archery, beach volleyball, body fit, chill & fun and much more.
