Other winter activities

for spending an unforgetable winter holiday

Tobogganning by day and night

First of all classic toboggan - an evening in the hut with fare and fluid Flachau specialities, followed by the downhill with the toboggan on any one of the four excellently prepared runs, lit up by stars, torches or lamps. This is practically a must for every winter holiday. The finish from the toboggan run from the Brennhütte is next to the Almdorf.

Winter walking at 1000 m

Body and spirit need it, Flachau's got it:
That so-called stimulating climate at an altitude of around 1,000 m above sea-level.

Winter walking with strudy shoes or on Nordic skis, feel your body tingle whilst enjoying nature, take a deep breath and unwind.

Cross country skiing - 220 km trails

Cross country skiing conveys a special feeling between body and snow. The Tauern Trail leads through Flachau, and you can really get going along 220 km of well-prepared tracks. Conquer the whole plateau on the narrow boards - and enjoy the refreshment stops along the way. Start directly at the your holiday chalet!
